Having touched up the paint and quality of the lines etc in my paintings (well nearly finished that anyway) I have taken to the task of "cleaning" the empty white canvas space around the images to get rid of pencil marrks etc.  However, I am slightly concerned by the warning on the back of the "artists picture cleaner" which reads.....
"Irritating to skin.  May cause sensitivity on skin contact.  Toxic: to aqautic organisms: may cause long term effects in the aquatic environment."

Hummm, well there goes my plan to tip it into the local water supply.  I am, however, somewhat regretting getting it on my fingers now they are starting to burn though.  Really, as a scientist, you'd think I'd know what TOXIC means!

Anyway, at least my house now has the "mad artist" smell of turps and oil-based paint about it.
