we were asked to produce a response to our working space and make a collage using only brown and white paper and glue. The idea being that we were defining a new way of creating line instead of using pencil. I started by creating squares of different proportions and then letting my subconcious tell me where to stick them and what to do next, which ultimately involved the inclusion of curves and the gradual creeping of the squares and curves onto the ceiling and floor. I am extremely freaked out by ivy and won't go anywhere near it, so I find it fascinating that subconciously I reproduce it!!!
